Task Boards (Kanban)
Kanban boards are the most visual way to manage tasks, with status columns and cards representing each task.
Kanban boards are the most visual way to manage tasks. Each board contains columns representing statuses, and cards representing individual tasks.
Creating a New Board
- Open Z-Tasks → click New Board.
- Set a board name — for example: "Website Project 2026", "March Sprint".
- Add members — invite colleagues to join the board.
- Click Create.
Board Structure
Each board has default status columns:

| Task C | | | Task F |You can add, edit, or delete columns to match your workflow. For example: add a "Testing" or "Pending Approval" column.
Moving Tasks
Drag and drop task cards from one column to another when the status changes. For example: drag a task from "To Do" to "In Progress" when you start working on it.
View Modes
In addition to the Kanban board, Z-Tasks also supports:
- List — View all tasks in a table format.
- Calendar — View tasks by date on a calendar.
Tip: Each project should have its own board. Use clear board names so everyone can easily identify them.
