Managing Calendars
Create, organize, and share calendars with your team. Control visibility and access levels for each calendar.
Organize your schedule with multiple calendars for different purposes.
Creating a Calendar
- Open Z-Calendar → click the + button or New Calendar.
- Fill in the details:
- Name — Give your calendar a descriptive name (e.g., "Team Meetings", "Personal").
- Color — Choose a color to easily distinguish events.
- Type — Select personal, group, or resource calendar.
- Visibility — Set to private, public, or shared.
- Click Create.
Calendar Types
- Personal — Your private calendar for individual events and appointments.
- Group — A shared calendar for team events, available to all team members.
- Resource — A calendar for shared resources like meeting rooms or equipment.
Default Calendar
Each user automatically gets a default calendar. This calendar cannot be deleted and is used when you create events without selecting a specific calendar.
Sharing Calendars
Share a calendar with colleagues to coordinate schedules:
- Open the calendar settings → click Members.
- Search for and add team members.
- Assign a role:
- Viewer — Can see events but cannot make changes.
- Editor — Can create, edit, and delete events.
- Owner — Full control including managing members and settings.
- Click Save.
Editing and Deleting Calendars
- Edit: Click the calendar name → select Settings → update the details → Save.
- Delete: Click the calendar name → select Delete. All events in the calendar will be removed.
Note: The default calendar cannot be deleted. You can rename it or change its color, but it will always remain in your calendar list.
