Guest Chat
Chat in real time with people outside your organization — customers, partners, or applicants — without requiring them to create an account.
Guest Chat lets you talk in real time with people outside your organization (customers, partners, applicants, and more) without asking them to register an account.
You create a password-protected invite link in one step and send it to the other person. They simply open the link, enter the password, and start chatting right away — no app to install, no sign-up required.

How It Works
For employees (internal users)
- Create an invite link — set a password, and optionally a link name, expiry date, and guest limit.
- Send the link — share it however you like (email, message, etc.).
- Chat and assist — when a guest joins, the conversation appears in your list so you can reply immediately. Even if you are offline, the guest can still send messages and read them later.
- Manage — disable the link when it is no longer needed, or remove a specific guest from the conversation.
For guests (people outside the organization)
- Open the link you received.
- Enter the password — and optionally your name.
- Start chatting — send messages, attach files, use emoji, view images and videos, and join a video call if the employee starts one.
How Conversations Are Organized
- One link = one private conversation with the employee.
- If several people open the same link, each person gets their own separate conversation with the employee — guests are never mixed together.
- Every conversation is tied to the employee who created the link, for clear management.
Example: a "Support" link opened by 3 customers shows up as 3 separate conversations on the employee's screen — one per customer.
Using It With Confidence
- Password protection — each link has its own password, with protection against brute-force guessing.
- Expiry & disabling — once a link expires or is disabled by the employee, it can no longer be accessed.
- No account = less data — guests don't register, so they don't hand over unnecessary personal information.
- File safety — files sent and received are scanned for viruses.
- Organization-wide control — administrators can turn the feature on or off for the whole organization.
Administrator Settings
- Guest Chat is enabled or disabled by your organization (tenant) administrator.
- When it is turned off, new links can no longer be created, and existing links stop working.
