Attachment Preview
Preview email attachments directly in Z-Mails without downloading them to your computer.
Z-Mails integrates with Z-Preview so you can view email attachments inline — no download required.
Previewing an Attachment
When reading an email, all attached files are listed at the bottom of the message. To preview a file:
- Open an email that contains attachments.
- Locate the attachment list at the bottom of the email.
- Click on a file name to open the inline preview.
- The preview opens in a panel — browse pages, scroll, or play media without leaving the email.
Supported File Types
Z-Mails can preview the same broad range of formats supported by Z-Preview, including:
- Office documents — Word (
.doc,.docx), Excel (.xls,.xlsx), PowerPoint (.ppt,.pptx), PDF - Hancom Office — HWP, HWPX
- OpenDocument — ODT, ODS, ODP
- Images — JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, TIFF, SVG and more
- Video & Audio — MP4, MOV, AVI, MP3, AAC, FLAC and more
- Source code — with syntax highlighting
- Archives — browse ZIP, RAR, 7Z contents without extracting

Downloading an Attachment
To download a file instead of previewing it:
- From the attachment list — click the Download icon next to the file name.
- From inside the preview panel — click the Download button in the toolbar.
Download All Attachments
To download every attachment in one go, click Download All in the attachment list header. The system packages all files into a single ZIP archive.
Attachment Size Limit
Individual file attachments are limited to 100 MB per file. Files exceeding this limit cannot be previewed inline, but can still be downloaded.
Tip: For large documents with many pages, the first few pages appear immediately while the remaining pages continue loading in the background.
