Using Z-Preview

Preview in Z-Chat

When a colleague shares a file in a chat conversation:

1. The file appears as an attachment card showing the file name, size, and type.
2. Click on the attachment card to open the preview overlay.
3. The file renders directly in the chat window — no download needed.
4. Use the toolbar to zoom in/out, navigate pages (for multi-page documents), or download if needed.

Source Code in Chat

When someone shares a code file (e.g., .js, .py, .java):

• The code is displayed with syntax highlighting and line numbers.
• You can read and review the code directly without opening an IDE.
• Perfect for quick code reviews, sharing snippets, and discussing implementation details.

Office Documents in Chat

When someone shares a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file:

• Word — Renders with formatting, images, and tables intact.
• Excel — Shows spreadsheet data with sheet tabs for multi-sheet files.
• PowerPoint — Displays slides with navigation controls.

Preview in Z-Files

1. Open Z-Files and navigate to the file you want to view.
2. Click on the file name to open the preview.
3. The file renders in a full-width preview panel.
4. From the preview, you can:
   • Download the original file
   • Share the file with colleagues
   • Open in Z-Docs (for supported document types)

Preview in Z-Mails

When you receive an email with attachments:

1. Attachments appear at the bottom of the email.
2. Click on an attachment to preview it inline.
3. No need to download files to check their contents.

Hancom Office Documents

Z-Preview provides native rendering for Hancom Office formats:

• HWP/HWPX (한글) — Korean word processing documents render with full formatting fidelity.
• CELL (한셀) — Spreadsheets display with formulas and formatting.
• SHOW (한쇼) — Presentations render with slide navigation.

This is particularly useful for teams collaborating with Korean government agencies or enterprises that use Hancom Office as their standard suite.

Tip: For the best preview experience, ensure your files are saved in the latest format versions (e.g., .docx instead of .doc, .hwpx instead of .hwp).
