Slack

Connect your Slack account to browse your channels and direct messages and read & send messages from inside Z-Chat. See also: Connect Slack & Chatwork.

Connecting

1. Open Profile → Marketplace and open the Slack card.
2. Click Connect with Slack.
3. A Slack window opens — review the access and approve.
4. Done. The Slack panel appears in Z-Chat's sidebar.

You sign in with Slack's own secure screen — no password is ever shared with Z-Cloud.

What You Can Do

• Browse public channels, private groups, direct messages (DMs), and group DMs.
• Read the full message history of any conversation.
• Send messages as yourself, and reply within threads.
• Edit or delete your own messages.
• React with emoji — adding or removing a reaction syncs both ways.
• Mentions and links (like @name and #channel) are shown in a readable form.
• Files — view and download images, videos, and documents shared in a conversation.
• Search your Slack messages.

Real-Time Updates

New Slack messages appear in Z-Chat instantly. If instant delivery isn't available, Z-Chat automatically falls back to refreshing every couple of minutes, so you never miss a message. Unread badges keep your channels and DMs up to date.

Disconnecting

Open the Slack card in the Marketplace and choose Uninstall. To reconnect later, just connect again.

"Reconnect needed"? If Slack access expires or is revoked, Z-Chat shows a reconnect prompt. Open the Slack card in the Marketplace and connect again — your conversations come right back.
